Furry vengeance is the movie directed by Roger Kumble in the year 2010, starring Brendan Fraser, Matt Prokop and Brooke Shields. It is an American comedy, basically deals with animal and human interaction. These days audience expect the movie which is more of a reality than fantasy, but still such movies for a change are able to catch the attention of the audience to an extent. But luck didn’t favor the movie and couldn’t get the sort of response that was expected. 44% of the reviews that of the film were positive and got positive messages as well. The movie has a message that parents need to know. Before parents, the people watching the movie should understand that comedy knows no boundaries; it can be produces from any object, human then why not with animals and their behaviors. When the films that are super hero bases can be accepted and appreciated as well, then movies with light comedies can also be accepted without objecting and criticizing. The movie has been made keeping the children in mind, the way they perceive things and the way they accept the things around in their environment. After all, people watch movies to get a change from their routine schedules.
The violence in the movie is all around shrunk spray, animal pee and other silly things that can be expected from animals and kids. The movie is absolutely for the children to watch, it involves some of the romantic scenes that does not go beyond a light kiss and couple of hugs. When children watch stunt movies, they try to perform those stunts when nobody at home, or to show off these infront of their parents, but the movie doesn’t have any such risky issues. It has a simple about the animals that they are also living beings, who exist amongst us and the race of survival they should be looked down upon or treated harshly for your benefit. Unfortunately people couldn’t take the message portrayed in the film in a positive and rated as the lowest rated movie in the following year. The movie revolves around the male protagonist that is Dan Sanders, who is a real estate developer who was supposed to shift to the Oregon Wilderness by his employees. The pain and the troubles he faces due to the animals is shown throughout the movies, such type of the children oriented movies are hard to accept. The scenes were quite fast to understand for the kids; probably that is why children didn’t find the film funny enough.
