Premiered initially in Belgium, (The Homeland of Tintin) on 23 October 2011, the movie went on to hit screens worldwide through the next few months. Called as the Secret of the Unicorn, the adventure starts with Tintin acquiring a model of the ship named the unicorn, and is then confronted by Mr. Sakharine who eagerly wants to buy the model from him. After secretly stowing aboard a cargo ship whose captain is Captain Haddock, Tintin discovers a plot among the crew to overthrow the captain and seize control of the ship instigated by the same Mr. Sakharine.
